20th ANNUAL FIRECRACKER 5K 3.1 MILE RUN/WALK Sponsored by Nantucket Health Club COURSE: Wheel measured 5000 meter (3.1 mile) gently rolling out to Monomy and back. Course starts and finishes at Nantucket Health Club. AWARDS: $100 cash prize 1st Male & Female Runner & Walker. Age Division prizes including Kids, Youth & Seniors, Runners & Walkers through 3rd place. Post race raffle. Water provided courtesy of Nantucket Spring Water Service. Food provided by Buddy & Teri Dion & Espresso To Go. NUMBER/T-SHIRT PICK UP: Free Official Race T-Shirt to the first 700 runners & walkers TO PICK UP THEIR NUMBERS at Nantucket Health Club, 10 Young’s Way, (508) 228-4750. It is recommended that you pick up your number & shirt Friday, July 2nd 9 AM to 9 PM to avoid the rush and have the best chance of receiving a shirt. Race day sign up begins at 6:30 AM. If you must register on race day, get there early to ensure you will be ready for the 8 AM start. ENTRY FEE: $20 Run/Walk entry fee. RACE PARKING: Race parking is not available at Nantucket Health Club. Please walk or bike to the race start or park on nearby Town roads.
