WORKOUT WITH CONFIDENCE DURING COVID-19: The wellbeing of our guests and employees is our number #1 priority.

Red Light Therapy

Red light therapy was invented by NASA many years ago.  It is now gaining popularity as a tool for treatment of pain and skin beautification.

Do not confuse a red light therapy bed with a tanning bed! Red light is at the opposite end of the rainbow compared to ultra-violet rays (tanning rays).  Red light is a stronger wavelength than any other type of light allowing it to penetrate deeply (to about 8 – 10 mm) into the skin.  Once absorbed, the light energy is converted to cellular energy, stimulating the body’s natural process on a cellular level and triggering a whole series of metabolic events, such as reducing fine lines, reducing acne and much more.  This stimulates collagen and elastin fibers to give skin a beautiful glow.  The Red Light Therapy bed at NHC has taken it to the next level by integrating this therapy into a total body enhancement.
